The 24th Connecticut Militia Regiment and the 42nd Regiment of Foot are non profit volunteer organizations dedicated to educating the public about the period known as the War of American Independence from 1775 thru 1783. Each organization you will see are all volunteers with the same goals in mind. Each has gone to their own expense to equip, dress and arm themselves in a manner according to the units they represent.
SAFETY- The weapons are REAL and are dangerous even though we only shoot blanks from muskets, rifles and cannons. Please observe the area designated for the PUBLIC to view the battles. The event site is open to the public from 09:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and from 09:00 to 03:00 on Sunday.
The event is free to the public however, there will be a $5.00 per car fee for parking to offset the costs. Donations are always accepted with gratitude. We also invite those who wish to join any of the units and become a member in a wonderful hobby.

|01/15/2014||There will be numerous demonstrations of 18th Century life in each of camps. The location of the demonstrations will be posted at registration table as you enter the event site.|

Saturday at 2:00-3:00 and 4:00-5:00
Sunday 1:15-2:15 in addition there will be Artillery, Cavalry and Naval demonstrations as well. Native Americans will be there in support of both Congress and Crown.
